The ITUV Shatter resistant light sleeving is the ideal solution when needing glass-free areas in various places, including food processing and sales, dairies, manufacturing areas, pharmaceutical plants, bakeries, cafeterias, restaurants, abattoirs and poultry processing. Shatter proofing Ultra Violet (UV) Lamps.

A transparent crosslinked polyolefin giving high levels of protection against splinters from accidental breakages. The application is quick and simple! This ITUV heat shrink has been developed so that it is easy to make the lamps shatterproof very easily. It will ensure that any glass will be kept contained in one place in case of breakage or tampering and ensure the safety of the surrounding environment. If the lamp suffers damage, the glass is contained in the shrunk-on jacket/tubing rather than falling into the surrounding areas.

The cost of lamps coated in house is lower than lamps purchased coated. The base lamp can be bought in volume at low prices, and in various sizes & lengths, but normally only two diameters are necessary, and simply cut to the length of the lamp. The labour cost of coating lamps with this material is very low as it is a quick & simple & safe process.

Duplicated lamp stocking is avoided, lamps do not have to travel to & from lamp coating plants. Only lamps for immediate delivery or use need to be coated. ITUV heat shrink is light & more compact than lamps & does not use much warehouse space. Faster delivery from you to your customer. No waiting for lamps to be coated or supplied. Just coat the lamps you need while packing for despatch.
