When fitting a new electrical meter these Printed Nylon Cable Ties are used to fit around specific cables so they can be easily recognised by the engineer or electrician whilst fitting, and also during any future maintenance.
Markings are repeated down the length of tie to ensure visibility at various angles and if excess tail requires cutting after installation. Our electrical cable ties allow electrical engineers and electricians to identify electrical cables during install, repair and inspection regimes.
Standard industry approved size of 200mm long and 4.6mm wide, made from Nylon 66 and printed for purpose. The size and specification are fully compliant and approved by UK Energy Companies. They are manufactured from tough durable Nylon 6/6 which has been tested to underwriter’s laboratory UL94-V2.
The cable ties can be tensioned by hand or with a tensioning tool, when using tensioning tool’s, it is recommended to pre-set the tooling to the proposed settings.
