It will provide the insulation thickness required by ICEA and NEMA specifications for crosslinked polyethylene insulated wire and cable.
This heat shrink tape is used particularly for waterproofing, corrosion protection, jointing and repair of cables. It is shrunk on the item it wraps around, forming a continuous insulated tight wall.
