Resin Ribbons have been designed for smooth plastic surfaces and accurate printing results with high durability and are applied at high printing energy. They are particulary abrasion resistant, scratch resistant and also resistant againts gasoline, alcohol and some solvents.
What is Thermal Transfer Ribbon Printing?
Thermal Transfer Printers work exactly how the name implies! Localised heat is applied by a thermal print-head which in-turn melts the wax/resin which is embedded in the ribbon onto the print substrate (Heat Shrink, PVC, Plastic, Paper etc). This, in turn, transfers the image onto your substrate/print material!
